About Us:

Hi, my name is Yang Yang. I am the founder of this online art gallery. And yes, the first name and last name are the same. It's not a misspelling.

As you browse through our gallery, I thought you might want to know a little bit about the human being behind the scene. So this is how I started this gallery.

I grew up in an artistic family, influenced by both my mom and dad. I was interested in color long before I could speak because I found the world so fasinating with many different colors. With this love for art, I went to art school in China to study the different forms of art.

A few years ago, my husband and I moved to Canada. In our country, I continued to pursue my artistic dreams, but I missed my artist friends so much that I began to beg them to send me their art works to decorate my home. Many of my friends are specialized in oil painting reproductions. They are all highly skilled and talented. Art is their very lives and souls. Gradually, my house became full of Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne and more. Over the years, we've had a wonderful son Derek and a beautiful daughter Mabel. I spend most of my time in taking care of them, playing with them and learning with them. Looking at the paintings on the wall, they often ask me to tell them the story in the painting. We all enjoy them so much that I believed I should start a business with paintings, old master pieces and decorating art. This is such a good way to teach children to learn and love art.

Now I am very happy with all these wonderful oil paintings around me and I enjoy very much working with my customers. Each time when they have found what they were looking for and emailed me, I am also very satisfied. I believe hand painted oil painting gives you the texture, the smell and the bright color that no prints can compare to. Therefore we try to keep our prices low, with hopes that you can find the ones that speak to you, stire your heart and open your mind.
